Here at the Crazy Dream blog, I'm all about introducing you to other authors, and over at my sister blog Dark Horse, we specifically expose you to Indie Authors. So I figured, why not help get a little more exposure for a band that definitely deserves a little more recognition!

Have you ever heard of VersaEmerge? To me, it's like a blend of Paramore and Evanescence. I love these guys, and seeing them on the Dust playlist running today over at Winged Persephone's reminded me of how their song Fixed At Zero is the perfect theme song for my dark pixie tale. We writers are always creating playlists to set the tone for our novels, so why not reward the band that supplies that mood? Take a minute to listen, then tell me your thoughts in the comment section, and earn
25 entries
right here, right now!

And oddly enough, band member Sierra Kusterbeck looks incredibly close to what I see in my head for Rosalie! I'm not sure I could find a better match! :)

I love this group. In fact, VersaEmerge's Redesign Me ended up being the theme song for my Immortal Archives novel Ordained because it was such a perfect match for Abby's relationship with the Order. :)

If you liked it too, check out my favorite VersaEmerge songs right here:

Refresh page if you see an ad.

Also, you can earn 25 more entries
for my prize packages by following both the band members on Twitter!

The song's a mix of pop-rock! My three-year-old daughter heard me listening to it and she wanted to watch the video, too. I, personally, would have liked it a little slower, but that's just me. Thanks for sharing the song and this group!
